WASA/OSPI Special Education Workshop

Annually OSPI and WASA Partner on planning and delivering a workshop
focused on critical compliance and best practice programs for special
education directors. Over a dozen years this summer program has
successfully engaged most district administrators for special education
in meaningful professional development. All content ties to five priority
strategies for programming: instructional/classroom best practices,
administrative support, legal considerations, fiscal issues and special projects.
